Molly and Sam Guarding the Goats
Our LGD’s are the working side of the Kennel. The Great Pyrenees don’t get to come in the kitchen to whelp but are close by and get the same TLC that their smaller friends enjoy.
They earn their keep with change to spare by guarding the farm and the herd of Nubian and LaMachia Goats in particular. They have earned their keep many times over. Once a year in the spring Molly presents us with some delightful babies.

The goats furnish us with delicious fresh milk. We not only enjoy the milk but also make some cheeses, soaps, lotions, ice creams and gelatos. The most awe inspiring thing I have discovered about my goats and their products is the wonderful soap that I can make from their milk.
Goat Milk Soap is very gentle and moisturizing and is the ultimate for dry and sentitive skin. My skin tends to be dry and I have tryed many commercial bars but always still itched. Since I have made and used Goat Milk Soap, I don’t have the problem nearly as bad. And in the winter if I need a lotion, the Goat Milk Lotion is very soothing. Also, what I make is not watered down like what you buy so a little goes a long way. I have bragged so much about the excellent qualities of my products that I now sell them all over.
Sam with some LaManchias Sam and Molly keeping cool but alert.
